Interest in Buddy Seat Covers?

I recently purchased a buddy 125 scooter and was unable to find many seat covers out there for a reasonable cost, so I made my own. The thought occurred to me that other buddy owners probably do the same.
So, long story short, I enjoy sewing and am wondering if you all think there is a market out there for this sort of service? I have been cut down to part time, so a little side work wouldn't hurt, but I don't want to set about making 20 seat covers that no one will buy, lol!!
I have an etsy store currently, so if anyone is interested, I will whip something up!
Thanks~

There is a market for these. Cheeky Seats is doing pretty well, making a lot of cool covers. Formerly, another company was doing so well, they were overwhelmed with orders.

I would be interested! Depends on the pricing but I would love something fun for my Lola!

Cheeky Seat is making in mass to keep pricing down, whereas you would / should be doing one-offs.
One-of-a-kind, personalized for each person as they order. A longer wait should be expected (but you'll need to tell the customer up front) and give yourself enough time to do it well - no rush jobs - otherwise quality suffers. And don't take too many orders at once (even though the thrill of it may be fun at first).

Not trying to be rude, but Cheeky seats does do custom 1 offs as well. You just have to call, but I've seen them do some really wild one offs.
whoever makes them, its a GREAT way to customize a bike for not a lot of money, and its cool because you can change it around in seconds. One of my cheeky covers is made of faux fur, and it comes off in seconds in case of rain

there is a member of Three Mile Island Scooter Club with a Psycho that goes by 'Batman' and is having Cheeky Seats do a custom cover for his seat...I can only imagine what they're gonna come up with
I ordered a removable cover in Nubuck for my 125, but it isn't fitting well (not sure if it's me or the cover) and I'm waiting to meet them @ the Meltdown rally and have them fit it to determine what is going on...
the materials (outer cover and inner liner), and double stitching are great quality...mine is a fitting problem, so I'm just using the stock seat for now and waiting for my 'lesson' to see what I'm doing wrong

I would be charging $25 per cover. No need to get crazy. Not trying to make a living off of them, just something fun that I like to do. Well it definitely sounds likes there's an interest so I will post my etsy store info when I get all set up! Otherwise feel free to pm me if interested now!
Thanks for the responses everyone.

Hi Guys, Had to pop in when I saw this! Hidey Ho neighbors! kmrcstintn I sent you a PM to see what the issue is, that should fit like a glove!
Moses, did you stop by and meet us at AmeriVespa? Anyone who has met us knows that we don't do anything "in mass." We're about as small as they come, and handmake covers one at a time as they come in, here in our cabin in Pennsylvania, you all are welcome to come by and say hello!
Good luck to you BabyDahl! Hi Viney! Hope to see you all at the Meltdown!
