Ok, odd question. Looking for a orange (not red) Levi's pocket tab. I'm wanting to make a "Levi's" buddy and make a
denim seat cover out of a blackjack seat and use Levi's decals/rivets/orange stitching on it. My grandfather had a 73 AMC Gremlin X with the "Levi's" package, kinda wanted my scooter to be similar. Below is kinda what I'm going for.

I'm not wanting to destroy a nice vintage pair of Levi's and not finding any orange tabs at any thrift store. Anyone know of a place that would sell the tabs? I guess I will turn to eBay if I can't find anything else.

What's it worth to you? There are cutoffs with orange tabs (pre-destroyed!) on <a href="http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_sacat=0 ... ab&_sop=15" target="_blank">eBay</a> for around $8, incl. shipping.

Daisy Dukes. That better be a pretty small seat.

Are you a Rambler/AMC fan? I loved the looks of the Gremlin and the Marlin, you could actually live in many of the Rambler Americans, even the Pacer had it's merits. But I had to work on the Concord and the Eaglet. AMC was in trouble by that time, and it showed.

Thanks Eric and Syd! I will pick up a trashed pair of jeans on eBay then. My grandfather had a odd obsession for really stupid things, among them cars with denim interiors. Considering my Buddy seat is messed up thanks to the chrome rear rack rubbing the seat I thought why not make a denim-esque (weatherproof) seat cover, or I will cover a spare blackjack seat. Seeing the scooter is sky blue I think it will look allright with a Levi's cover. And yeah, I like AMCs enough to do this.
