Would really appreciate it if someone could help me

Got a friend thats been noticing his buddy got stiff in the front forks (rough ride)
Hes also been noticing a slight squeek once in a while coming from the bottom of the bike when he bounces on it or drives at a slow speed idk if its coming from the forks or the bottom

The squeak I can help with — use some WD40 or other lubricant on the center stand. They can get squeaky from time to time. It'll drive you nuts!

Sorry, I don't know what to say about the forks unless maybe the front tire is overfilled and your friend is just feeling the bumps more. Check that both tires are at 30psi.

I'd ask how many miles are on them and how he rides.

a lot of people just jump off curbs and do all kinds of things that the poor shocks on a buddy will only do reluctantly. That can add up.

Otherwise, if it steers fine, I'd not worry about it too much. they are pieces that eventually need to be replaced. if it's in the warranty period, have the shop look.

thanks alot guys.

Does he have the stock shocks? It sounds as if you're saying they were fine at some point, but have now stiffened—is that right?
