Has anyone used this "soft sided" version of a topcase? Does it lock to the rear rack?

They attach to the rack with vinyl straps, though some people have drilled holes in the bottom to attach them to the rack with bolts.

I've had the Prima bag on my Italia for about a month now and love it so far. It does attach to the Buddy rear rack but I'd skip using the provided straps and just get some large zip ties from the local hardwear store and attach it that way. The provided straps don't hold the bag on very securly so I just used some thick black zip ties. I get alot of compliments on the bag, especially on how good it looks with the styling of the Italia. Other members of this forum have said they've had problems with the clips breaking on their bags so I try not to be too tough on mine. All in all I like the bag. if you don't need a topcase that locks I think it's a good looking option.

I used the provided straps and buckels on the back of the case. I put them through the d-rings and attached the case to the back of the rack. It just keeps the case from moving around. That's about all the provided straps are good for.

Thanks for the pics. Any way to lock the bag? Scooterworks seems to think the bag locks. Would a suit case type lock work?

I have the S/X clone of the Prima Bag. It is a great case and surprisingly roomy. The provided straps are useless - Zip ties connect it to the rack.

After 6 months it has seen better days. It sags and there is some fabric wear in places. If I was doing it over I'd put a properly sized cutting board or equivalent inside with some sort of 'hoops' to support the top of the case.

I'm hoping to have Santa replace it with a GIVI hard case.

The bag does not lock. I've been told thay changed the latches since I got mine a broke four of them.

The other gripe I have is that it fades pretty quickly.

Also I used a kitchen drying sheet (for fried foods and the like) underneith the bag to hold it up.

Here's how I used a kitchen rack to hold mine up.
