What do you use to clean and protect the finish?

Post by TroutBum »

Before too many miles on my new scooter I want to clean and protect it. Was wondering what some of you are using to clean and protect the finish on your scooter?

A friend of mine saw a demonstration of this wash/wax product called FastWax. He recently purchased it and used it on his Harley motorcycle. He too owns a Buddy 170i.

He was amazed how easy it was to wash and wax his bike. Just spray it on and wipe it off! He said it was that easy AND it even removed the bug guts without any additional effort.

I havent used it yet, but I probably will purchase a bottle. My friend told me the sales guy told him a single bottle would do 6 CAR washes, so I imagine a single can would last forever for a scoot :-)

Its a waterless wash and wax all in one.

Thanks,

Meguiar's Quick Detailer works great and is dead easy to apply. Just spray it on and wipe after washing. Good for all Buddy surfaces.

Amour All Extreme Shield Wax for the shiny spots, and Meguires Back to black for the dull ones.
