Modern Buddy

A friend of a friend in our local riding club purchased a brand new Italia 170i. She wanted a top case.

I had purchased a SHAD29 for my Kymco on sale, and won a 37l at a previous rally, so I decided she could have mine for a cheap price (she wanted the matching color). I love the match but I really don't need a topcase 99% of the time on Yoda, and it's detachable.

So, I met them for coffee, had some good times, and proceeded to spend @ 45 min removing it from mine and putting it on hers.

I got the WORST sunburn, which is my own fault, since i had sunscreen with me.

I hope it's a friendly/jest award, as I do my best to be a really fun person. However, my sense of 'fun' may be off.

Why even bother making such a "prize"? Lovely.

I think it's more of a jest and meant to be given in good spirit. I'd like to think being the 'new guy on the block' if I was truly awful I'd just be asked to leave .

The rally was star trek themed, so other categories were "best/shittiest scooter, most shit bolted on to a scooter, and most likely to dance with a green bitch."

Wow, I love when people tell you it's an honor to be insulted. Next year, you should hand out "prizes" that are similarly mean, and tell everyone what an honor THAT is.
