Anyone else with the prima exhaust for their buddy 125 ever had it scrape? I was turning into work today and heard a scraping sound and sure enough.. my new prima exhaust is scraped.
Personally I prefer a scooter that has signs of wear and tear over a scooter that looks spanking new. I think the wear and tear is a true sign of ownership and love.
But to each their own. Sorry to hear of the scraping -

Yes.
It takes a licking though.
So it's not like it's going to scrape a hole in it.
Mine even flattened out a bit.
I found that when I scraped, it was because my back tires needed a bit more air.
...have a look.
Ok this is slightly related but you should be able to help. I noticed my rear wheel well ( plastic cover over my back tire ) had a bracket that attached to my exhaust pipe. When I noticed this I saw that it was not connected and the plastic was grinding down part of my tire (I blame my dealership the scooter is brand new). Any way that got me thinking. Do after market pipes have this bracket? Or will my rear tire just be f'ed if I get a new pipe?

The bracket that supports the pipe on the Buddy bolts to the frame and has two mounting points for the pipe. There is also a tab on the main bracket where the rear tire hugger attaches. After market pipes like the current Prima pipe have welded on tabs that allow it to attach to the factory bracket with spacers. Other pipes (and the older Prima design) have stainless steels hoops that surround the muffler on the pipe and attach to the same mounting points.
