Received my November 2012 issue and they had a review of this scooter by Honda. "The 153cc liquid-cooled engine is surprisingly useful on a six lane freeway, at least for short burst, bringing my 135 pound mass to an indicated 70 mph". "With a 102 mpg estimated fuel economy,". Price of $3449. Well if it is good as they say sounds awesome, or is it just good copy.

I frequent a pcx forum and it seems to be the real deal. 90 to 102 mpg or so on average. Speed is good for a 150.

Any input on how the PCX 125 compares to the PCX 150? A local shop has a PCX 125 on consignment that's been there for a while now. I'd be more interested if it were a 150 as I'd like to step up in displacement but realize the liquid cooled 125 is a step up in performance compared to my Buddy 125. I'm interested in being able to do short jaunts on the freeway (65mph) and flow with traffic up into the mountains on highways with 55 mph speed limits.

They did more than just bore it out. An article I read about it said there was a list of maybe 10 different improvements they made to the powerplant alone. I'm really looking forward to hearing from somebody who has one, too. Anybody?

Let me just say I love my 170I. I had a 85 elite 150 and it rode so much better than the buddy. After I had my buddy I sat on the pcx150 and it felt like a dream. If I could go back I would have a honda.

I don't remember all the difference between the 125 and 150, but I think the 125 tops ojt around 62 and gets very slightly less mpg maybe. I wouldn't take one on the freeway. Even the 150 is really pushing it even though it's technically freeway legal.

I had my choice between a new 2011 PCX (125), and a new 2013 PCX150 a couple of months ago. Coming from a Kymco People 250, my logic was thus: Neither of the Hondas are really suitable for interstate riding, and I got a much better deal on the 2011 NOS PCX (still in the crate!) than I would have on the 2013 PCX150. Plus, I like the pearl white better. :)

If there was still a Genuine dealer in town, I probably would have gone with a Buddy, though. I can't say I'm the least bit disappointed in the pricier PCX.

Glad to hear you're still happy with your new scoot! :D Any problems at all?
