If that were posted in phoenix, the guy would be demanding an iPhone 5 + cash or a fully kitted AR-15 in trade, and he'd be serious about it :|

looks like some big animals chew toy.
what it would cost to fix it, it would be cheaper just to go buy another cheap chinese scooter.
you can get a new taotao for around 500 now.

Has so much water damage would not doubt it if it came out of a lake as a salvage item.

I've occasionally found reasonably priced bikes in Phoenix. Best I've ever done on a Craigslist bike was my '84 Riva 80. Running bike for $40. Only bummer was that the manual auxilliary fuel tap (vice grips) wasn't included. :lol:

That said, I just hauled a bike down here that a friend had bought a while ago and needed it worked on. '85 Elite 150; it's a certified Phoenix tweaker scooter. Words cannot fully convey how bad it is!
