If that were posted in phoenix, the guy would be demanding an iPhone 5 + cash or a fully kitted AR-15 in trade, and he'd be serious about it

looks like some big animals chew toy.
what it would cost to fix it, it would be cheaper just to go buy another cheap chinese scooter.
you can get a new taotao for around 500 now.

Has so much water damage would not doubt it if it came out of a lake as a salvage item.

I've occasionally found reasonably priced bikes in Phoenix. Best I've ever done on a Craigslist bike was my '84 Riva 80. Running bike for $40. Only bummer was that the manual auxilliary fuel tap (vice grips) wasn't included.
That said, I just hauled a bike down here that a friend had bought a while ago and needed it worked on. '85 Elite 150; it's a certified Phoenix tweaker scooter. Words cannot fully convey how bad it is!
