Just wanted to sing praises for all the tech library, and in particular Dalvarado's cdi/coil thread.
I was able to swap my cdi and coil out with the Bando ones very quickly.
Haven't swapped out for the iridium plug yet, but already it really does start a lot easier. We'll see how it goes after the snow clears in a week.
If a mechanical nitwit like myself can do it with a cheapo toolkit, anyone can
.

Speaking of the tech library, I have acquired a dealer copy of the "Buddy" service manual for the 125's from 2009. There was no other manual for the Blackjacks. Essentially, the exact same machine except for displacement. Another fun thing that I learned is that Psycho's have stroker cranks in them. No big whoop.
09 Blackjack (less than stock)
00 Suzuki SV650
69 Honda CL450 (sold)

Yes I have printed copies so I can look at them in the garage, although I could look at them on my iphone.
