I have family in the Bay State, and they told me they got over 2' of snow, but it was light, unlike what the coast was getting. I tell ya, wet snow is the worst. Shoveling wet snow is like digging a grave (or that's what I thought every time I had to shovel wet snow).
I hope you were able to keep power and have friendly neighbors with a snow blower!
East Coasters are you dug out yet?

snow snow snow! snow everywhere! And now it's raining! There is just nowhere to put the snow. Each time we dig out the driveway, a plow comes and pushes it back. Gaah!
With the rain, the snow is incredibly heavy. Slush everywhere. It's just nasty. We got at least 20", I'd say closer to 22" in Providence. Our power flickered but we never lost it.
My boyfriend's grandma is in rehab east of New Bedford and the facility has been without power since Friday. They're freezing out there
Got the Elite out and hoping I can ride tomorrow, although it's supposed to get really cold tonight making ice everywhere. Why did I move here?
The backyard birds are on their FOURTH fill-up of seed and suet.
I can't believe the pictures from Long Island. The travel bans in MA and RI prevented cars abandoned all over the roadways. Sorta weird, though. Very martial law-y.
I went for a walk mid-day Friday when it was just starting to accumulate. I live in a crappy neighborhood so of course the illegal quads were out! [No, that is not me but I sure wished it was as he was having an absolute blast]

Dragged the Elite over to my house late Saturday afternoon.

Backyard birds, aka cheap entertainment for my cats (they're inside cats; they just watch out the windows)
