Does anyone have experience with or opinions of Schuberth helmets?

I really don't know much about them but I saw an ad for their new model ... the C3 Pro, a modular designed for sport touring. It seems to have everything I want, although I'll have to find a local place carrying this line to test out the fit.

All that being said, it's expensive!

Try it on before you buy! I tried the C2W (the women's version) a couple of years ago at the IMS and almost ripped my head off my body trying to get it off. So did not fit my head shape. I hope they made changes as I've read many complaints about forehead pressure (and crazy headaches). Otherwise, feel was spot on. Very nicely made and lightweight. Just make sure it fits your head before committing to dropping that kind of money.

All I know is that's what The Stig wears.

The fit is one of the things I'm concerned about. After reading some reviews about the previous C3 version, there were comments about the tight fit, especially into the forehead, leaving imprints, etc. So you're spot on there and you're also exactly right about finding a dealer and trying them on first. Particularly since I'll be into this investment X 2.

Supposedly unbiased previews and (biased) manufacturer's claims for the new C3 Pro along with some features that appeal to me:
Improved fit, addressing the issues mentioned above.
One of the quietest, if not the quietest full face/modular around. 82 Dbs on average (of course testing methods are always a factor)
Small outer shell
Outstanding ventilation (seems to be a common comment, even with the previous version)
Internal antenna that will support our Cardo Scala systems.

There have also been some comments that the visor not remaining open if you try to ride with it cracked open a bit (something that I frequently do), so I'll have to check into that a bit as well.
