While searching the Internet for a forum regarding the BMS scooter co., I found this site. I read a lot about people's thoughts on BMS and Chinese scooters in general. I liked the honesty and the openness to really help. No Chinese scooter bashing here. Great thing.

With that said... I bought a BMS scooter used and was very disappointed. After reading here the recommendations with respect to finding a respectful dealer, the search began again. You guys were on the money! I searched and I found. Here in South Florida... A dealer for BMS that not only showed me the beautiful BMS Heritage 150 I now own, but went to the moon for me while I was on a ride and got a flat tire... Front tire. I called and he sent his mechanic to me ( I was within 15-20 miles of his shop) and they brought my scooter back to the dealership, changed the tire out for me and then delivered it to me at the luncheonette I was at, waiting. I cannot believe the treatment I got from this dealer. The charge? $30 dollars! This truly was an experience that I thought I should mention here. This may not be available all the time but his office was slow and he had a mechanic available for the job.

BMS and there franchise dealers ( if they are all like this) should get a reward!

My hat is off to them. I will not post the name here as to not look like a commercial, but if your interested... Just let me know!

Great guy and awesome service! Cheers!

OK...it's April Fools, but I'm going to post my sincere response:

See, that's the thing about chinascoots. IF you happen to find an ethical, legitimate dealer, you CAN have a positive experience. It sounds like you knew what you were getting into, and that's also vital to having a decent chinascoot experience.

For those considering the BMS Heritage 150 (ZNEN), also include the Lance Havana Classic 125 (SYM) in your research . . more stable 12" front wheel, flat floorboard for more utility, and more conventional scooter-type handlebars.

One basket option.

Or the Cali classic for those who like the bare handlebars. Indeedy!

If this is not an ApFJ like ravenlore stated, at least the experience was a good one.
Also don't like the styling of the BMS'es, looks like its trying to be something it is not.

The styling does perhapse look like its trying to be something it's not but, for the price bracket.... So far a great choice for me. But, I understand loyalty runs deep... I know some Harley guys that laugh at me for using the scooter at all..... Chinese or not. Hey, it's for buzzin up and around and saving gas... Got the car and truck.... The dune buggy, and a few other toys... I figure, have fun, play as much as you can and of coarse share your toys...nay least that's what my mom use to say! 46 years old now with a 16 year old daughter always trying to borrow my toys....... God bless guys and ride safely...
