Have to tell on myself
One of my concerns with only having a scooter has been what to do if I need to take one of the pets to the vet. After I saw several mentions of the "pet carrier," I excitedly told my boyfriend that yes, they make pet carriers for scooters and it sounds like a lot of people have one!! That was until I read the MB FAQ Glossary page. D'oh!!!
Hey, if you can't laugh at yourself......

I took my cat to the vet on my Vespa once when it was an emergency. (He was having an asthma attack.) I hung the cat carrier from the hook under the seat.
There is! NoHo Scooters made some. They're having a clearance this weekend. Maybe I'll see if I can get a bunch for MBers.skully93 wrote:my only wish is that there was a shirt with a NOPET symbol readily available!

Nice! I'd take an XL if they have one. If you can nab one, let me know!
At what point does a hobby become an addiction? I'm uncertain, but after the twelfth scooter, it sorta feels like the latter...
Seriously...I've lost count...
Seven mopeds ...that's still manageable...

I actually got my dog with the specific idea in mind that I needed to be able to take her to the vet myself in an emergency... so I got a Chihuahua.
True story!
Still...
If I had a pet that wouldn't fit on my scoot, I'd just keep dialing everyone on my phone for a ride to the vet in an emergency. There's always SOMEone. Luckily, I have not yet run into that problem, and my little Chi is over 15 years old now.
I'm another who only has a scooter for a vehicle.

Shoot, my Idiot Cat would probably enjoy the ride. She likes warm (sleeps on the furnace vents) enclosed (no box is unexplored around our house) places and doesn't seem to mind the noise - she trots right up when the vacuum cleaner starts, hoping that we'll vacuum her with the hose attachment.
Feel da rhythm! Feel da rhyme! Get on up! It's Buddy Time!

I've transported fish, tropical, gold fish, betas and sushi many times on the scoot. Though I've never just held the bag in my hand, I think I might have used the bag hook. (Ok, maybe I may have once put tropicals under tha seat.) Typically if planning a purchase of such, I bring along a soft cooler in my rear basket.TVB wrote:I have twice transported goldfish home from the store on my scooter, in a little plastic bag oh-so-tightly gripped in my non-throttle hand.
For a 'real' pet I've seen and read where they've strapped their 'car carrier' to the rear rack or on the back of the seat.
Eric, please put my name down for a sz L shirt.....
