Broken Bracket on 170i

Heard a noise while idling and traced it down to the rear fender tab off the muffler bracket. Anyone else had this tab break off?

I had mine break on my 150. My neighbor welded it back on for me but it didn't last (he was just learning how to weld).
In the end, I ended up buying a new exhaust pipe bracket. I can't remember if I bought it used from EBay or if my local shop had a totaled Buddy that I pulled it from.

my 150 has that broken as well. makes me wonder if it is under sized
