Stolen scoot

Post by skully93 »

Thankfully not mine, but one of my compadres had his '06 orange buddy stolen last night. I guess be on the lookout for fresh parts?

Had about 10k miles on it, mostly stock, not much in the way of stickers or anything.

I'm a little edgy lately after getting a letter from the leasing office about a slew of "motorcycle thefts" in the complex and that part of the city. They have surveilance video and the property manager won't get into details about the investigation, but he stated that it could pan out into arrests soon. I'm going to assume that since scooters are so much easier to steal, that those are probably what was referred to. In the meantime, we'll be extra vigilant about locking up. I don't get it, but Virginia is so rampant with thefts, especially downstate.
