To buy, or not to buy

I need some encouraging or discouraging.

I'm looking at buying a 2006 buddy 50 on craigslist for $450. I'm in the middle of paying off my 2013 buddy 125.

It's pink, and it will most likely be spray painted matte black if I obtain it.

Or, I can obtain it just to sell it.

I've owned 2 x 125's, and done limited modding to each.

I'm thinking a 70cc kit would make a Buddy 50 perdy darn fun.

Opinions?

Nothing wrong with having a 50 around....the price seems ok as long as it's in pretty good shape. There are tons of hop up parts for the 50... I started looking to get a 50 first before I bought my 125...I'm glad I didn't since I've really gotten hooked riding it a lot more then I imagined, and the 50 would have been too small for the trips I've been taking....Not too small, but too slow, with the traffic I deal with. If I had places with little traffic, it would be ok. The problem I always found with the 50's... was, most had been owned by kids, and weren't taken very good care of, and were pretty well trashed...

Unless it's been badly abused, that's a great price.

Pretty hard to go wrong...you could part it out for more than that.

Isn't someone around here kind of looking for a pink buddy? Could always see if you could swap panels with someone if you don't want that color.
