Red Line on Speedometer
Hey all. I'm pretty new to the scooter world so I pre-apologize if the answer is obvious/ asked many times over but what does the red line around 55mph mean on the speedometer ? Thanks In advance!

Brilliant! Interestingly enough this is the speed at which I start to tuck.iamryan25 wrote:It means you're entering tuck speed.
What is tuck speed?
It's easy!
Step 1) Accelerate to the red line on the buddy odometer
Step 2) Get into a tuck to become less wind resistant.
Step 3) Do NOT roll off the throttle, do the opposite.
Smile, you've achieved tuck speed.
Great interpretation!

No, no, no, ya'll got it wrong. That means your about to hit redline, when combined with a WARP device (mentioned in another post), will turn your Buddy into.......dunh,dunh,dunh

It used to be the US national speed limit for better fuel economy after the 70's gas shortage and rationing and all vehicles had 55 mph highlighted on the speedo. Not sure why PGO has continued with it since the limit was lifted many years ago
