A Too Good to be True Black Jack?

The following ad has been on Seattle CL for several weeks now:
http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/mcy/3835899348.html
I e-mailed the seller, told them I was interested and asked them how much mileage it had and a number of other reasonably intelligent questions so that they would not think I was trying to scam them. No reply.
I'm somewhat suspicious of the ad because of the unusually low asking price ($1500), their use of what appear to be stock photos rather than the typical seller-taken photos and no reply to my questions including is the title clear and in your name?
What do you think? Legitimate ad or trap?

with that ad, I'd be suspicious too.
There's no additional info, and only stock ad/photos?
But, you can't win if you don't play! Maybe they're selling it for someone and have no idea what it really is.
Good luck!

RUNAWAY!!!!!
That second shot is actually my bike in Atlanta that we just purchased. It was the shot used on Marietta Vespa's CL ad for the bike.
Can't imagine it's a legit ad if they're stealing photos off the web.

Well, they could at least take a look at the ODO and tell me what the total mileage is. I'm trying to be a player but they're not cooperating! If they were seriously interested in selling the scoot, and are selling it for someone else, you'd think they would have gotten the answers from that someone and gotten back to me. Anybody else wanna try?

I ended up buying the scooter in the above Craigslist ad today.
I gave the seller my cell number in my email to him. He replied with a few images of the actual scooter. The price was lower because it has a rebuilt title. It appears the bike was considered totaled because of cosmetic damage.
The seller had replaced damaged body panels and also ridden it several hundred miles since fixing it.
I'm extremely excited to have gotten this scooter. It's my first scooter (or motorcycle) and is much nicer than what I thought my budget was going to allow.

Congratulations! I'm glad it wasn't a scam and it's good to know it's going to a good home. Enjoy!

buying a salvage title is always a risk, but it seems like you won that game. With that I might have tried to talk him down a bit, but if it's all fixed up....you win!
Congrats, I really love the BlackJack.

I have around 5,000 miles on my 2009 tangerine Buddy 125 since it was "totalled" by the insurance company. Still rides like new, even at freeway speeds, so hopefully your experience will be the same.
Enjoy! BlackJacks are way cool!

Thanks all! I'm going to give it a good home. I'm planning on commuting and joyriding with it.
I hope I did win the "salvage game". It looks pretty much new, rides nicely, and doesn't make any strange rattles or noises.
I can feel some intake mods coming up. Got to have something to match that nice Aprila exhaust pipe!
