A great venture, really. As she says, this has been "an epic ride". I admire Alix's youthful enthusiasm, and principled exploration of self and of ways to peace. I expect we'll be hearing more of her.

YOU GO GIRL!

congrats to Alix on her commitment. That scooter looked like a pack mule...And my apologies for making a shallow point when there is such an important cause on the table, but the corazzo looked great on her...I loved that jacket on the rack, but looked terrible in it.

I am happy that the short CNN video clip was positive, as the article was shabby. Still, it was press. It was pretty serendipitous that CNN was there to cover the end. The night before my friend and I splurged on a room at the Hilton. WE had both driven hundreds of miles and decided to sit in the hot tub for the night. There I randomly met some nice people, who saw me packing up the next day. They said, "Scooting off?" and I said, "Yea, to Crawford"
Turns out they were CNN White HOuse reporters so they took a big interest in the story. Beautifully random!

A big thank you to all the people who supported the trip- providing lodging, service work, donations, beer, advice, directions, and promotion.

I just made it home at 5am this morning and I don't really know how to start the next phase of my life. I certainly miss my scooter, who is getting shipped home, soon hopefully. Probably sleep is in order! THen I have a lot of updates to do on the website and lots of photos to add.

Peace
ALix
