Painting black tires to white wall

Has anyone done it yet? How did it go and what product did you use? I came looking for advice on a replacement for the rear on my '08 Pamplona and am sad to see that Maxxis no longer makes their WW, which I've been very happy with although they only lasted ~4k each.

They seem to be better reviewed than most other options, but scooters tires are probably a different beast.

I read about the 130/70-10 size some folks are putting on the rear without needing modification and this sounds like an exciting option.

Those paint things aren't very good. I considered them back when I had an 06 Mustang and wanted the RWL look but found out low profile tires didn't come with RWL. Consensus was that they stuff doesn't last and it doesn't look very good.
