Killer Deal!
If I was purchasing - I think I'd try to time close to the end of the riding season so I'd get 3 full riding seasons in before the warranty expires.

But then you'd have to wait until September before you could start riding it.
And that's only 2/3 of the way through "riding season" anyways.

Hm...
So until the end of the month, (i.e., tomorrow) the local dealer has 200 off the Buddy... though this seems like it's more valuable than 200 off.
I was pretty excited to buy this weekend, but waiting for another 12 days seems like it might be worth the wait. I'd think a whole additional year of warranty would significantly increase the assurance/value of an investment in a new scooter.
Thoughts on this?
It is better

NikVee, I think it would be worth it to wait. It is such a good feeling when something poops out, and you realize all you have to do is truck the scoot down to the shop and it will be made better (provided you have a good shop).

From my experience they dont break and if they do they do usually fast. Well unless you put a ton of miles on it .

Personally I'd rather save $200 than get another year of warranty. Problems with the bike are most likely to occur when it's new or when it's old, and Year Three is neither of those.

Genuine is offering this because they know it won't cost them a lot.
Of course the $100 credit on service is worth something too, because you'll definitely have use for that in the medium term.

Well I didn't make it to the bank today, which means I'm waiting.
Probably for the best, anyway

I thought it was a pretty good deal too, I saw it pop up on my FB page... Of Course like most said, these things are pretty bullet proof unless you don't take care of them...but still an Extra year, and 100 dollar service credit seem pretty good......Of course I'm just looking for an excuse to get a new one with a Big headlight, LOLOLOL
