Well... it seems the gremlins are back. After replacing the auto bystarter and it seeming to be fixed, she wouldn't start again... either by starter or kick. So I'm going to end up taking it to my local dealer next week.

<vent>Seething in frustration and anger.... </vent>

I'm sure these are all questions you've already asked yourself, but:
Got spark?
Got fuel?
Got too much fuel?
Got some starting fluid? If you spray a little in the carb, does it start?
