DIY oil change on Buddy50

I'm sure this has been covered before, but searching through every single thread on Buddy50 oil changes is really tedious!

How do you do an oil change on a Buddy50? I checked YouTube but could only find oil changes on the Buddy125. From what I understand, it's pretty simple to do, I just need some guidance! I've really been putting the miles on my Buddy (1,300 in 7 weeks!) and bringing her into the shop every 1,000 miles is going to get old, costly, and time consuming quickly. As for replacing the filter, I'll bring her into the shop for that (unless it's super easy), but for a basic oil change, I'd like to do it myself!

The buddy 50 does not require oil changes. You add 2 STROKE Motorcycle/Scooter oil in the reservoir next to the fuel tank. If you're not familiar with this process, stop by you're dealer and have them show you. You still should do the first maintenance (500 miles I think) at your delear as they check various points and it's necessary for warrantee purposes. [/u]

Oh, so I just add oil? That's easy! I saw the mechanic add oil when I took her in because the carb had flooded, that's all there is to it?

All the lubrication in a two stroke engine comes from the oil in the gas-oil mixture, but you'll want to change the oil in the gear box every 2-4 K miles.
That's actually really easy.
I imagine the Buddy 50 has a very similar transmission to the 125 and the gear oil change is the first part in this tutorial.

My Buddy 50 requires an oil refill roughly every 750 miles. So if your mechanic refilled it for you about halfway through your 1300 miles, you'll probably be due again soon. Watch for the red oil-nozzle light on the speedometer. It lights briefly when you start the engine, but if it comes on at other times, it means you're going to run out soon. An empty tank will take a quart of oil. Or you can "top it off" from time to time.

But you do still need to change the gear lube, by the rear wheel. Probably 80-100cc of gear lube.
