I joke with my fiance about running from the police on my Buddy50 but didn't think anyone would actually try something like that!

One of things that planted in my head the idea of getting a scooter, was this comic book, put out in the early 1990s by Ed Brubaker (better known today for writing Captain America and the X-Men).

Well, at least they can't pop him for removing the throttle restrictor on top of everything else... Other wise his bail might have been as much as $8,300!A chase ensued, with ten police cars pursuing the moped at speeds topping 25 mph.
