Tint helmet visor for sun?

Sorry, if this is somewhere in these forums. Does anyone have experience modifying your helmet visor to decrease the sun's glare?

I use the
Sundowner Tint strip and am very happy with it.
The same question was
posed on ADV rider; there's some good tips there about using a strip of window tint which similar to the Sundowner. The Sundowner peels right off and goes back on. Never had a problem with mine. It's a lot thicker than traditional window tint film.

There are also a ton of helmets that have an inner flip down sun visor as well. All 3 of our scorpion exo models do. Some times a little pricier option though.

okay... now I'm wondering if this will do anything regarding protecting your face from UV rays. I don't see a ton of info out there regarding face guards and whether they protect you or not from that. Mine is clear in any case so I highly doubt it.
Any info appreciated.
