Hey !!!

Quick question for you guys...
How do you all transport your Buddy ?
I'm looking into getting a carrier to transport my Buddy and came across this site.

I have a tilt-a rack and it works great. The important thing is the hauling vehicle. You need a minimum Class III hitch that can handle the "toung" weight +. The scooter will be extended from the receiver so the cantilever effect puts extra stress on the hitch.

My hitch is rated for 5K lbs so I have no problem. I also have a small flatbed trailer for hauling two scoots.

I have used a flat carrier rack that slides into a trailer hitch receiver and tied it down with rachette straps. The buddy fits on there- a bigger scooter like a Vespa will not.

Get a ramp and park it in the bed, unless your bed has a cover, in that case, remove the cover, because those are pointless. As other said, check the tongue weight of your hitch AND the tongue weight your Nissan has, i'm guessing it should be enough. Even a minimum of some trucks at 600lbs you should be fine. But honestly, if you have a pickup, i'd just transport it in the bed.

I have a Frontier also and I can carry two Buddies in the bed with with cargo straps and the tail gate down. I can haul one scoot with the tail gate up. I bought a folding ramp for loading the scoots.
I used to haul my toys on a cargo trailer but I have no good place to store a trailer now.

If you don't need to haul it but once a year maybe, then renting a motorcyle trailer from U-Haul could be an option....around $15 a day.
