I am brand new to scooters and am very interested in the Buddy, does anyone know if they are actually sold in Canada? I read a few posts on this site that seemed to suggest they might be- but I cannot find dealer locations on Genuine's website... can anyone clarify?
Yes. It's called the "Metro" and I don't know that it is Genuine who is importing it. If you use the search function at the top of the page and type in "Canada" as your keyword, you will find a thread entitled "Buddy coming to Canada" (or something like that) about a third of the way down the page. It should tell you more than I can.
We have 7 of the 17 in Canada from the first shipment. 2, 125 green "Italia" and 5, 50cc 2strokes in red. They are in transit and should be here mid week.
Well we got 'em today. The Italia 125 has black inner panels and a cheesy Metro decal but the rest is the same. The 50 in red is identical as the Genuine model. I will post pics after I take her for a rip. WooHoo!
