Just purchased a 2012 Buddy 125!

Looking forward to posting and learning. This seems to be a great community!

Already got my eye on a cowl protector and the genuine storage system (is there a better one?).

Also, which disc lock is recommended?

Always glad to see another Psycho owner! Welcome to the community!

I got my Psycho last year and bought at time of purchase front and rear racks -- but I hated to change the tough little pitbull looks of the Psycho and avoided putting on the front rack until I had it done just last week. Yikes! I waited a while. And added a Cuppini windshield also -- which I LOVE.

So now that I've broken down and begun changing things, I'm also thinking about the cowl protectors -- so if you get them be sure to comment and post pics! (I probably should do the same to show off my minor mods, I suppose. Hmm. )

I have a Xena disc brake alarm and like it, but I don't think it has been challenged yet by a would-be thief. I do like how easy it is to use, etc., and it seems tough. I think it is generally well-thought-of on the forums but hopefully some others will chime in.

Welcome to the best little scooter in America - and the best little scooter website  . In my opinion, the Givi and Shad cases are worth a look. They both have a large line of styles, sizes, and colors. The Genuine cases are okay and they match, but there are certainly others out there.

Where are you? I've got a no-name topcase (in black) that I got with a scoot some time ago. Yours for the asking if you live in the Phoenix metro.

I wouldn't spend the money on that, it cost me $100 and I started getting random false alarms after a month. About 2 months in, I had false alarms 2/3 work days. It's loud as s**t, and I park my scooter in a parking garage, so you can only imagine how terrible that was. About 3 months in, I was riding to school and it started going off in my pet carrier. I pulled over and it wasn't activated but was still going off. I had to take the battery out to make it shut up. I brought it back to the dealership, and apparently it moving around in my pet carrier jacked up the sensor, and that's where they tell you to store it. The dealership said they'd be happy to sell me another one, but I'm a broke nursing student! So now I have a really expensive lock.

Oh, and welcome to the family :)

Thanks! I do love the flat black look! I'll keep looking into security options.

Gorilla 8007 selling for $80 at Amazon. I've had one on board for a couple years, good product. A couple of install threads here on the forum.

Hey road rambler, have you adjusted the suspension at all? I'm 185 and I wonder if it needs tweaking, not sure how to tell.

^Not since the beginning, but it's so easy to do, maybe you could just play around with different settings? I've got it kind of medium. I ride over a lot of rough roads so I want it to handle those but not launch me out of the seat.
