bent front fork on Buddy 50?

Post by franniebananny »

We hit a curb pretty hard. When you look at the scooter from the front and the handlebars are straight and all is lined linearly up the wheel is turned a bit to the left as you look at it even thoough the handlebars are not turned. does this mean we bent the fork for the wheel to not be straight? any ideas? thank you

You can twist it straight just like a kids bike. Takes a little more exertion.

I know this is for a BMW MC but the principal is the same.

I can't say that I recommend doing this, but the last time I did it in the 70s, I just wedged my front wheel snugly between two dumpsters, gave it a twist, and it worked great.

What I really wanted to say is that the secret is to avoid running into curbs. Hope everybody is okay.
