Another Vespa Dallas Special Edition Buddy 125...

Post by Alexbv200 »

After the Gulf Bike that we did 2 years ago, Bubble gum, Peppermint, Spearmint and Liquorish, I introduce you to the Buddy 125 Tricolore...
The inspiration is in the pics.... a 2008 Ducati Monster S4RS Tricolore that we have for sale (traded in for a Piaggio BV 350).

I did all the swapping myself.. took a while, but definitely worth it!!

Hope you guys like..

i guess i am not a fan of the multi paneled Buddy. or at least the way the panels are painted in this case. to each its own, but i wonder if Genuine ever considers such paint schemes?

the 2014 Agility 125 is horrible, paint wise. i like it one color. and black

with some accents. but not sure i will ever like a Buddy done like this, exactly. although i do like what some owners do after they make the scoot their own

The Spearmint Buddy reminds me of the '86 Special Edition Spree. :D
At what point does a hobby become an addiction? I'm uncertain, but after the twelfth scooter, it sorta feels like the latter...

Seriously...I've lost count...

Not a big fan of the two-tone ones you've done, but that Tricolore looks awesome. Would look better if you could (with paint or maybe vinyl) extend the green stripe all the way up to the taillight. Not sure how easy that would be to pull off without it looking cheap though.

Thanks guys,

Seafoam Green is completely sold out for another 2 months at least so we got some green panels to put on other bikes to sell.
Genuine has had the same colors for a while so we thought we'd try something different, and it actually has been quite popular.

The green of the Tricolore is actually the one from the Oxford Green Buddy 170i.

The Gulf bike was pretty damn cool and I had even found GULF stickers on eBay for not much, so I had to add them to the bike.

We had the Genuine Rep in our store on Wednesday and she was all over the Tricolore... she loved it and took bunch of pics!
She even named it...... "Bella" 8)
