I currently have 37,575 miles on my 150. I live where it snows so I'm sure I would be closer to 50K if I could ride more between November and March.
Haven't had to do anything to the motor yet (knock wood). Just the usual wear-and-tear stuff in the CVT and tires.

I have seen several over 20K and personally know of 2 over 30K. They seem to hold up well, change the oil, change flat tires and replace bits when they break

.
The engine is very easy to work on as far as engines go. You can always buy a good motor out of a wrecked buddy too when yours wears out at 50K or so.
Now get riding

I have 27,500 on my 150. i would have a lot more if I didn't have a Stella with 17k miles and a SYM RV-250 with 25K miles.

Bonegirl is racking up miles on her 150, but already did 40K on her 125.
There's a 150 in the San Diego area that has over 60K. I'm not sure what the total is now; been a while since I've heard how much it's racked up.

I currently have 47,414 miles on my 2008 Buddy 150. I've replaced the stator coil assembly, and exhaust pipe (went with the prima pipe), otherwise just routine maintenance and wear and teat items. Compression still seems good, but having a few carb issues lately. Hope to make 50K by next summer!

Not wanting to pull this too far off topic, but I wonder: Is this durability somewhat unique to the 150? Or would a 170i be similar?
I ask because I am curious how the Hooligan 170i would hold up.

they're all pretty similar, so I'd expect them to be roughly the same. The fuel injection on the 170i shouldn't change much in the piston life.
Considering even if you have a shop rebuild it, if you get 60k miles out of an engine, I think you win by a large margin :p.

she posted a couple months ago or so that "the pinkster" finally bit the dust unless she worked it out? her Blackjack painted pink, that is. she seemed a bit heartbroken as she was considering another kind of scooter altogether for her needs, i think. but she said she loves riding Buddy's so was torn
seems the Blackjack had big vibration problems at speed at around 34,000 miles and she thought it was toast. guess she got it fixed and it went another several thousand miles but this last bit sounded like engine failure, etc
maybe she got that worked out, too? didn't sound like, though

Damn rangerreese80! That's impressive. Just turned 38K on mine.
So, I know what 'wear' items are. But 'teat'? How'd you wear those out?!

Good one Tocsik! Good luck on making it to 50 k on the buddy! I can think of lot's of funny replies to you comment about "wearing a teat out", but this is a "G" rated forum.

Hiya! .... I lurk here mostly, but have done some long scooter travel.
My Blackjack is just about to turn 20k miles. Replaced stator belt and roller weights. Oil, gear oil. About to get new tires. Last I looked at brake pads, front and rear were fine. Just recently replaced the vacuum petcock because of fuel running into cases. Outside of that, flawless.
Gonna take advantage of cybermonday deals at Scooterworks for jets, mirrors, and possibly replacement airbox hose (the one on mine is boogered a little).
Be safe all.
