Modern Buddy

I'm planning on getting a white seat and grips for my italia. Does anyone have any idea if they're hard to clean or if they get dirty easily? I'd pick white over tan any day but if it's a hassle to clean then I might resort to tan. Let me know, thanks!

There are several people on ModernBuddy who have the Pink Buddy and they should be able to tell you if the white seat and grips shows dirt and if they are easy to clean.

I've got the white seat and grips on my black buddy. Seat isn't hard to clean at all but it hasn't ever really gotten that dirty. I wipe it off every now and then with just a wet cloth. I haven't tried cleaning the grips. They've gotten a little dirty - they are white after all. This shows the extent of the dirt after one year.

I'll probably go with the white and take extra care of it. I know over time the grips will get dirty but oh well. I do have white gloves I got from newenough.com so maybe it won't be as bad? lol. Well thanks for the info guys and I can't wait to get my italia!

I do know people who have the white/pink buddy and the white grips get really dirty. Some have replaced with the black grips.

My Pink Buddy came with black seat and grips.

Fantastik does a great job on 'em.

I've also heard that some people have problems with their seats being slippery after using certain cleaning products. Does Fantastik or any other cleaners have that problem? Thanks again!

I didn't like the look of the white seat and grips, so I bought black grips and exchanged the seat on my '06 pink scooter. I still have my white grips, and I'll sell them to you, if you'd like. I used them for only two months, I do believe.
