Places to eat?

......In S. Korea? So I got 1 day left in the States until I go on a 8 day working holiday in S. Korea. I know a lot of you guys in MB land are well travelled and I wanna know: The best places to grub beaks? At least the work is light....

Sorry, but the nearest I've been to South Korea is Skagway, Alaska.

i would look for someplace "american" and eat there. i went on a bus tour with a bunch of Korean tourist some years ago and they ate the same thing for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for a week straight. it was all cold food and before the Korean bbq trend.
kimchi, dried fish, seaweed, cold eggs, and crunchy veggies and cold rice. this is all i remember. that and we went to an ihop somewhere near San Fran and they did not know wtf to do with a pancake or hash browns.
i say find a kfc or hamburger stand and let it be

I've eaten at some very nice restaraunts in S. Korea, but that was in '82-'83 when the Army requested my presence there.
I had a lot of tasty dishes from roadside vendors as well as traditional places where we sat on pillows on the floor with a low table in front of us.
Foursquare is available worldwide, I believe. You may be able to find local places that way.
Let us know how it was when you get back.

yeah i i did a little investigating and apparently the food i ate on the bus trip was typical but, um, good for traveling. iow things that would not spoil. so it was a lot of dried things, pickled things, and cold rice. better grub is out there in Korea
it just wasn't on that bus
