Neglecting A Buddy

Hi!

Whats the longest you've ever neglected a Buddy? Or any scooter? How did it go? How did it run? Is it still running?

Oh, the stories I have read! Years without oil changes, no filter changes, belts going for 20,000 miles, and rollers that last forever!

Anyone ever put a scoot to the test like that in the real world? As for myself...I am getting ideas!

Just for a little experiment. I just don't want anything to break!

Buddy 125. NO, NONE, NADA maintenence for around 8,500 miles. Lost a main bearing-which then trashed the whole motor. NOW do oil changes every 2000 miles-filter every 4000. Plus all other reqired maintenence.
