Modern Buddy

So down here in Mobile Alabama, it's a lonely place to be a scooterist. We're a rare breed. Last year a local furniture business owner who's also a scooter enthusiast decided to devote some of his space to create a Genuine scooter dealership. Bob's Scooter World is just across the bay from Mobile in Daphne. The dealership is set up in the warehouse behind the furniture shop, but they also keep some blinged out buddies and stella's in the furniture section too, it's very interesting. The shop is run by his friend Kent who has along history of working on custom scooters and motorcycles. They are the only Genuine dealer in lower Alabama and now the ONLY dealer that sells just scooters in Alabama, and i'd like to help keep them around for a while.

Thanks RT. How's Philly these days? My old stomping grounds were across the river in Burlington County. I miss the north sometimes, just not in the winter.

Our scooter club in Pensacola, Scoot Pensacola, is going to visit Bob's Scooter World on Sat. We should be there around 10:30 or so. Stop by and say hi!

Awesome, will do. I've been meaning to stop over there lately. This will be a good excuse. Any of you SP folks make it to Amerivespa? I met a few people from Pensacola there.

Yes, our whole family went! My husband Randy and our 3 kids. Our daughter Kaitlyn and I rode their on the Vespas. Were you there?

Awesome! Yep, my girlfriend and I rode from Mobile on a Burgman and a Buddy. I might try to recruit some Mobile folks to come meet up as well, we have no club yet but are working on it.

Sounds like a plan. Call over there and let Kent know how many if it's more than you two. I hear he may have some hot dogs cooking!
