Modern Buddy

So ya I woke up this morning to go to work and my Buddy 125 was stolen out of my front yard. Im in Tucson so that thing is prob down in Mexico already. Anyways if anyone spots anything it has been stolen so contact the police. It has a paint job so its very unlikely there is another one like it.

Geez that sucks.
(You know I was just in Mexico in July and there are a TON of scooters down there but they are all strange names...your Buddy would stand out for a number of reasons if that's where it went.)

Check Craigslist, your dealer, and post yours out on http://scoot.net/stolen/index.html

i live in tempe, good chance it will turn up here by ASU. i'll keep my eyes open, it def stands out.

Damn sorry to hear about your scoot.

You should also alert local dealers and give them your VIN# and a pic. Several scoots have been recovered when dumbass thieves have damaged them while jacking the ignition or steering lock then brought them in for repairs. Duh.

Your scooter is distinctive – I’m commuting to the Phoenix area near Tempe and ASU, far away but I will keep an eye out as well, two more eyes in this area now.

Thanks for all the advise and look outs up north. Looks like I will have to buy another scooter in the next week or so to get back and forth from school and work. I dont know if I want another buddy or upgrade to the blur or get something else. make up my mind with test rides and stuff.

Is that ever a nice paint job.

do you have insurance?

Ya my insurance company is Progessive and they seem pretty good so far. Just some paper work and proof of the assesories I put on the scooter covered up to $3000 in that. So hopefully when it is all said and done I will be about even to when I first started because of the Deductable. Going to Scoot over this afternoon to get another scoot but im going to miss the Nogales rally because of the break in time and stuff.
