PLEASE Help
Hey guys. I need your help. I was recently riding my buddy 50cc was riding it full speed for about 6 miles and then it sort of just died. It was having issues accelerating and it was very choppy. I had it brought in for a tune up. Had the batt changed and had the carb cleaned out. Still had issues. Then I had the rollers and belt changed and STILL the same issue. I dropped about 500 bucks and it's still acting up. My buddy has 6300 miles on it. Plz help. I'm running out of funds

Perhaps this?
I know it is not a buddy, but my stella was dying and acting funky...turned out to be just the main fuse. This was after a new battery and fooling around with the carb.
Naturally, if fuses have been checked, then I am kinda out of ideas at the moment.
Good luck...sick scooters make me mad and sad at the same time.

Well, if your float is stuck open and gas is flooding the cylinder you definitely will have problems. If there's too much gas it could have washed the rings (or is that only a 4T problem?). A nice squirt of oil in the jug could help out there.

Resolved yet?
Wondering if your mechanic was able to resolve this issue?
I would second the suggestion of checking compression. If compression is within normal range, I would disassemble the carb, remove and clean jets and make sure float is functioning properly.
After that, check out the rest of your fuel system, petcock, inline filter etc.
Don't spend anymore money in the CVT, that's not your man issue here.
Post what the mechanic found out. Oh, and throw a fresh NGK plug in there, $3-4 and never hurts.
