Buddy 50 Oil Feed with Malossi 19mm Carb Question

I have a Buddy 50 with the Prima Stage 2 kit (70cc head, rollers, spring, exhaust), and I'm upgrading to the Malossi 19mm carb from scooterworks.
The Malossi install manual mentions removing the Oil Feed mechanism when installing the carb, but I thought I read that the stock oiler is sufficient with a 19mm carb.
However, I can't find any info on it now. Is anyone else running the factory oiling setup with a 70cc head and 19mm carb?

I have also heard this about the stock sump and that you should put an ounce or two of oil in the gas for good measure.

Cool. So I'm not crazy. Do you have a similar setup?

No nothing as of yet. That depends on how far I want to push the mods. As for the extra oil in the gas there was a video I saw that had one of those scooter mech.'s in it saying that "the stock pump with extra oil added to the gas should be sufficient". Just wish I could remember which site I saw that on.

I actually just talked to the guys at scooterworks.com and they said the factory oiler should be sufficient. Anyone have experience otherwise?
