Modern Buddy

I have written up the first of many scooter related posts on my blog.
This one is all about my experiences in researching and finding my Buddy. I am only a few days into owning it, but think I have consolidated a lot of the questions I had.
I think this will be helpful to anyone perusing this board looking for a summary of things to consider when deciding whether to purchase a scooter and which one.

Hey there 10. Very informative and entertaining blog. I might be the only other Buddy owner with less time on the clock that you I won't be able to complete the MSF and get my license until after I get back from vacation in a few weeks. As a scooter newbie, I can totally relate to your experience. I ordered a Corazzo, but probably got the wrong one. Looking at gloves and boots now. Can't wait to ride this weekend (I think I located a suitable parking lot near home).

Ha - that is my plan for the weekend as well! Headed to the nearest parking lot to start putting miles on the odometer!

Hey 10, I saw you post about the Diadora boots. Those look nice. They seem to make pretty good bicycling shoes. If I can't find a decent pair of hiking boots, I might have to pick up those Diadoras, myself.

Next Spring there is suppose to be a location (probably Brooklyn Park/Center) community college where you can get your MSF endorsement on a Scooter. Still in the works.

Regardless if you are over 18 yrs of age, you need to go to the DMV and pass the written knowledge test first. Unless you have already done that.
