warranty question

Post by tempalte »

If you need a repair that is covered under warranty, do you have to have it repaired at the dealer you bought the scooter from? Or will any Genuine dealer work on it (then be reimbursed from Genuine)

I found a good deal on a 2006 blur, but they aren't that close. There is another genuine dealer that is closer to my home.

Yes, any Genuine dealer can do Genuine warranty repairs.

As a side note, I spoke with Genuine about their warranty and learned that it is not transferrable. So if you buy a scooter and then sell it (or buy one that has been previously sold) that warranty doesn't go to the next owner, even if there would be time left on it.
