long lonesome ride @ sunset.
In the hours toward dusk rolling around the city I saw a score or more of harleys with a loud and restless air. A few Scooters with a deliberate aim to be some where, where the party might gather. And scores of pedestrians dogs and casual bicycles all milling toward the nite. How nice to be separate from them all. R

I think most folks didn't realize that it was open mic night at MB, most likely.
I thought you were just sharing social observations from ride you'd recently taken. It's a nice sentiment, being able to ride about without the constraints of time or unencumbered with the "social responsibilities" of repping a particular marque or style of machine.

At what point does a hobby become an addiction? I'm uncertain, but after the twelfth scooter, it sorta feels like the latter...
Seriously...I've lost count...

I looked at the post and I didn't get the point. Sorry.
Are you a ''joiner'' or a ''recluse''?

I think someone has a little buzz going on.

"And as the gloaming sets in, the junkman once again looks over his accomplishment. The cars, the rust, the tired old dog....as he locks the gate, he can't help but remember his mother's words, "You suck."

I enjoyed it so much that I reformatted in a way that forced me to read it as slowly and deliberately as I felt it deserved. Well done, still shifting. Here's my parsing of the text if anybody is interested. (Stuff like this pretty much made me unpopular with a long line of English teachers.

All milling
Toward the nite.
How nice to be
Separate from them all.
