Buddy idle jet question

Does any know if a idle jet in a buddy 125 carb has a passage on the flathead screw or carb bowl side. When cleaning the carb it looks like there is a passage for gas to flow from the bowl side to the top part of idle jet but I could not get a wire through it. Please help.

Yes, there will be a passage. A jet is what controls how much fuel flows from the bowl into the venturi. The passage on idle/pilot/slow jets tend to be very small especially on small displacement engines.
