Battery Tender - 6V vs 12V?

Post by 10gallonhat »

Ok -

I am looking to put my 50CC Buddy away for a few months and was planning on picking up a Battery Tender to keep the battery charged.

Scooterworks has both a 12V model and a 6V model. My first assumption was this was related to the Voltage of the battery, but I am not sure.

12V

6V

So, for a 50cc Buddy with a 12V battery, which Tender should I get, the 12V or the 6V,or does it not matter?

Thanks.

12volt Battery = 12volt Tender

6volt Battery = 6volt Tender

Older scoots had 6 volt batteries, thats why they carry 6 volt tenders.
