I recently moved from beautiful Naples, Florida to the frozen tundra of Indiana, and now my Buddy gets to spend the winter in the garage. In preparation, I've filled the tank (treated with Seafoam), pulled the battery and spark plug, when I went to drain the gas from the carb the gas just kept coming. I opened the fuel adjustment screw on the bottom right of the carb (as if you were sitting on the bike) and gas flowed from the dangling rubber hose on the left (as expected). However, the gas never stopped. The engine was of course, not running.
Any thoughts?

bad petcock
You're petcock on the bottom of the tank is bad. It relies on suction from the carb to let fuel flow. You can see it on the right side of your gas tank if you look up above the muffler.
