Sliders vs Rollers

Is there a link on this site that adequately describes the difference between rollers and sliders? I am looking at replacing work stock components and I want to understand what the differences are and what may be best for me.

it is a subject that isn't 100% perfect, but here's what most of us have done:

go with the stock weight, or no more than 1 gram lighter for best performance.

I personally put them in all my scoots and have great luck.
