Signals will not turn OFF

Post by wheelbender6 »

I mounted my Buddy to ride home from work and my signal would not turn OFF. After fiddling with the signal switch a bit, both signals, left and right, were blinking and I could not turn them off. I rode home 30 miles in rush hour with all signals flashing. I realize that I need to change the left handlebar switch module but I have a few questions.
-Will it damage anything if I remove my signal flasher until the new part arrives so I can continue to ride?
-Where is the flasher on a buddy? Under the front body panel or the handlebar panel?

If both left and right were flashing, you may have bumped on the emergency flashers on the right-hand grip.
