Hooligan Ride Report

I picked up my matte green Hooligan at the dealers this past Tuesday. I rode my '09 tangerine Buddy 125 trade-in in so I rode the Hooligan out and 29 miles to home. I now have 60 miles on her and I couldn't be more pleased. The package included rear rack, matching matte green top case and windshield the latter to be installed when the dealer gets it next week. They gave me a very reasonable trade-in allowance on the Buddy and the rear rack, top case and windshield were basically freebies. The Hooligan's FI engine, 12" wheels and tires, disk brakes front and rear and dual rear shocks are all pluses but the lone negative? The tiny storage bin. It's not big enough to put a small water bottle in and there's just barely enough room to squeeze a pair of gloves in. The Genuine engineers really goofed on this one. But, all things considered it's really a great scooter and I'm still smiling ear to ear.

I agree! Got a RAM mount cup holder as a birthday present for my boyfriend to go on his Hooligan and he loves it. The attachment that I got is screwed in under the mirror base with an arm that attaches the cup holder. Has (kind of) solved that problem for him.
EDIT: Forgot to say congrats on the new bike!!

Awesome scoot! Even more awesome dealer!
Should I say I'm ''matte green'' with envy?
Congrats!

That's a very good deal from the dealer - those are expensive items. I agree with the little front compartment - not particularly useful. Other than this small item it is a great scooter.

Thanks! Where did you buy the RAM mount and do you have a record of the model number? TIA.

I'd like to know about that cup holder mount too. Could you provide a link?

One of the guys I work with just went from a buddy to a Hooligan. He misses his gen u bin, other than that he loves the new bike. Funny thing, he already has a cupholder on his, too

I work at the scooter shop here in Atlanta so I got it from our supplier WPS. It's available on Amazon with the attachment arm here:
http://www.amazon.com/Mount-RAM-B132R-D ... 9ZTGC6K16J
The "kit" comes with a U-bolt base. Part # RAM-B-132R
To put it on the mirror I also got the "RAM base with 9 mm hole 1" ball", part # RAM-B-272U.
If you find just the cup holder, make sure you get the attachment piece as well as the arm to connect the 2.
Amazon link for just the cup holder:

For the mirror attachment:
http://www.amazon.com/Ram-Mounting-Syst ... RAM-B-272U
For the double socket arm:

Hope this helps!
