No head/instrument light suddenly?

Went to get groceries, and my headlight was out. Also, no instrument light.

It worked the last day I drove it. Battery should be good, all other lights work and it starts right up.

Fuse or a loose connection?

Thanks!

Also stator. I guess it took the Voltage Regulator with it.

It started fine with the stator out? Our first Buddy stator went out at 11,200 and it would not start although it would crank like normal. I would have thought it can not run with a bad stator.

Always bear in mind that the "stator" on a Buddy is one assembly with two seperate electrical components on it. One is the actual stator part and the other is the ignition trigger coil. If the battery were in good shape, the motor might start and run for a while with the actual stator dead, but it definitely will not start with a bad ignition trigger, because there will be no spark. I say "for a while" because the battery will slowly be running down because it won't be charging. This exact thing once happened to me on my old BMW motorcycle while I was riding.

Thanks for clarifying - so my ignition trigger just up and went out as we got no spark and it cranked its heart out as long as the battery had juice. At the time it was fully stock, had just come back from the 10,000 mile tune up about 6 weeks before.
Have not had it happen since on any other scooters and have no idea why it went out or if there was anything we did that caused it.

I have just over 15k miles, and it lives outside, so I figured at some point I'd run into a gremlin or two.

A local shop is taking care of it for me. I don't have a flywheel puller, etc, so it was easier for them to get to it for me.
