How many miles can I expect for my tires on a 50cc Scooter?
What can I expect them to last for???

Keeping on top of tire pressure and not being super heavy/two up riding alot I would think around 8000 miles rear, usually double that for the front.

A Tao-Tao? The tires will outlast the scooter.

My neighbor has a Tao-Tao and told me it feels skittish. I told him he just has to get used to the small wheels, and that the twitchy feel is normal. Then he insisted I ride it. The tires are not "round" if that makes sense. They feel like car tires that sat for a long time and got the flat spots that eventually go away after a good, long drive, but his tires are just crappy. I forgot the awesome brand name, but they stink! Other than the horrible tires it does not ride that bad, just very slow-32mph MAX! I offered him some good tires off of a Vino but he does not want to pay the $20ish a wheel to have them mounted-weed is more important I guess. His life, not mine. I tried

Hey, all you can do is try. Sometimes, the cheapy cheapy tires are real crap Usually they wear out quick and need to be replaced, saving you the pain.
Tires are cheap. If you don't trust them; change them.

Tires are so importand and cause there are only two, they are not a place to skimp. Buy better tires. R
